I could not tell you what “God” is…

I don’t think anyone truly knows. I know that it is not a big man in a sky with a beard for sure… I know that it is not worth dying for as that goes against its purpose… I know that its something that does not influence or change your life… I know its something that led to your creation but did not create you… I know its something indifferent…

As a pantheist I realize that it would be outrageous to say that everything simply exists because it does. There was a purpose behind it all but I think that the question is beyond any living soul. We will never know the full extent of the mystery. It infuriates me to see so many blinded by pointless religion. My religion is primarily science… I would never dispute however that science will never be able to explain the very beginning of all things… to me that is god. 

There is comfort for me knowing that I am part of a universe that is aware of itself. I  used to be afraid of death but now I find a certain comfort in knowing I started as Star dust and am one day destined to be that again. Between then and now I may become sand on a beach, water in a tree or part of another animal… We are all part of it an we are all going back… but for this brief moment I am just happy knowing that I had the opportunity to experience this gift called life.

Last night I watched Love after a long time trying to find an actual copy of it. It was an outstanding piece of cinema! The general story being about an astronaut on the ISS who is stranded for half a decade following what we would assume to be a nuclear war on earth. The film asks and answers many questions regarding the human condition and really does provide a feeling of loneliness and isolation. Its an obscure one too so I’m doubting no one else I know would have seen this. Hence why I’m telling you to watch it :D !

Seriously why the hell aren’t people going to space yet. It seems so pointless that countrys are more interested in other trivial things. If space were open to humanity there would be so much more potential for everyone and everything. Its just crazy that we aren’t even trying.
